2023: continuing with joy and optimism
We look back at 2022 with a lot of gratitude. Sure, here were challenges, but mostly 2022 was a great year for us. It has been amazing that Mulvarra House is finally where we always hoped it would go: a place where people come to switch off, to connect to themselves, the people around them and to the nature surrounding them and to enjoy what we have on offer.
We have many wonderful events lined up for you this year. We are so blessed to work with so many amazing and talented teachers. Browse through our events page and see what suits you. Any questions? Like everybody else, we were hoping that the start of 2021 would be different. Unfortunately we have had to make the decision to shut our doors for the third time. Due to the massive uncertainty around the pandemic we simple do not know when we will be able to reopen. As soon as it is possible to resume events we will be back and meanwhile we will try to make best use of the time in maintenance and upkeep

Running workshops and retreats year round
Mulvarra House is a new workshop and retreat centre located in the village of St Mullins on the River Barrow. We run weekend workshops and retreats primarily in the areas of yoga/meditation, traditional arts and crafts, and food. Located right on the border of Carlow, Kilkenny, and Wexford, we are an hour and a half away from Dublin. Waterford and Kilkenny are practically on our doorstep.
Your hosts, Tim and Linda, have created a wonderfully peaceful and relaxed environment at Mulvarra. While at Mulvarra, you will get to experience a truly magical landscape which surrounds the ancient monastic site of St Mullins, the jewel of the River Barrow. Whether you come to Mulvarra to practice yoga, unleash your creativity, paint, meditate, or just stay and rest and relax, you will come away feeling replenished and revived.

Retreat participant I have just come down to earth after a magical weekend yoga retreat in Mulvarra House. It is my second retreat in Mulvarra and it will not be the last. Everything was perfect from the incredibly peaceful yoga studio, to the most comfortable bed, to the heart warming vegetarian food.
