3 day workshop 13th - 15th march
2 nights and 2 days of deep practice with Eithne. We will take time – time for asana, time for meditation, time for being and time to connect with the beauty of our surroundings, without distraction. Morning practice will be a steady flow to energise and open the body, evening practice will be slow and meditative, so we can make space for whatever is arising within. There will also be a Mantra Meditation session before lunch and Yoga Nidra before bedtime…plenty of opportunity to gently listen to the secrets of our Being!
Numbers will be small, making this an intimate experience and the perfect opportunity to explore the more subtle aspects of Yoga practice which can help to unlock our hidden depths…everything we need is within us!
Highlights
- 5 classes
- All meals included
- Time for yourself: relax, enjoy a river walk, read a book
- 2 nights accommodation (shared and unshared accommodation options available)

This retreat is suitable for anyone with some experience of Yoga; if you’re not sure please contact us.
Food is another vital component of this special experience and we spare no efforts to bring you the healthiest and most delicious vegetarian food, all made by Linda. We can also cater for a wide variety of dietary restrictions with advance notice.
Also important is that we have time to digest, both physically and mentally. To that end we have been careful to build in provision for downtime. Mulvarra looks down on a path which stretches alongside the Barrow River for over 100 Km and passes through some of the most beautiful river scenery in all of Ireland. The perfect tool in fact for passing time with your thoughts while letting the natural splendour of the Barrow River calm you.
All in all a very rich tapestry woven together seamlessly, and delivered in a relaxed and very down to earth environment by your hosts, Tim and Linda.

Eithne Kennedy
As a yoga teacher and kinesiologist, Eithne believes passionately in the importance of yoga in our everyday lives and in its role in the maintenance of our health and wellbeing; she considers it a privilege to share the benefits of yoga with other people. The approach that she takes when teaching is that yoga is available to everyone; practicing yoga should be an enjoyable and uplifting experience that empowers the individual and offers a tool for life.
Eithne’s teaching style emphasises the importance of alignment and the breath while building strength and flexibility. She encourages you to find a balance between effort and ease, allowing you to find the space in your body that can take your practice a little deeper. Eithne weaves the philosophical teachings of yoga into her classes, the importance of honouring the self which in turn ripples outwards and honours all living things, acknowledging that we are all one.
Mantra meditation is a cornerstone of Eithne’s Yoga practice and she particularly loves to share it in retreat and workshop settings where there is time to feel the resonance of the space we create in ourselves when we chant together.
Eithne has been practicing yoga for over fifteen years, is qualified to teach at the IYA 500hr level since 2012 and is a member of teaching faculty on the 200 hr foundation teacher training programme at the Yoga Room. She is hugely grateful to all her teachers, students and peers for all that they continue to teach her.
