STaying at Mulvarra

WE are now taking bookings

We are getting very excited as we approach the date where we are allowed to reopen to the public. We are now taking bookings for our reopening on the 1st July. It seems like an age since we were last able to have people to come and stay with us.

Our accommodation

We have six guest bedrooms, all of which are ensuite, with showers in each bathroom. Four of the rooms are twin rooms and one is a triple. All but two have their own individual balcony and all but one have the most amazing views of the Barrow and St Mullins.

Please note that although none of the rooms are single rooms, if you are traveling by yourself and  wish to book, do contact us. We will always do our best to facilitate your requirements.

How to book: contact us by email info@mulvarra.com, or phone 051424936.

Covid Precautions

Failte Ireland has been extremely supportive and has done massive work in training businesses like ours in how to operate safely in the midst of a pandemic. We are members of Failte Ireland’s COVID Safety Charter which you can find out more about here. The gist of it is that at all times we emphasise proper social distancing and hygiene guidelines. As part of that, we are very keen to promote outdoor dining at Mulvarra House wherever practically possible. And weather permitting of course, this is Ireland after all!

Glorious views from your balcony

Groups Bookings

If you’d like to come and stay with us with a small group, consider booking a bespoke retreat over the summer. We so look forward to welcoming people again and offer you the opportunity to spend time with your loved ones: real time, not screen time! Also, we would be very happy to discuss some of the range of activities which we can help to organise for groups, from yoga to kayaking and mountain hikes.

Dining at Mulvarra House

Whether you are dining outside on our garden deck or inside in our dining room, you will be treated to the same astounding views of the Barrow River valley and the old part of historic St Mullins village. Linda as usual will be cooking up a storm in out kitchen ready to delight your palates (and even sometimes your waistlines) with a hugely varied menu of healthy vegetarian cuisine.

Outdoor dining at Mulvarra

Outdoor dining is a cinch for us at Mulvarra House with the addition of two large timber decked areas both of which overlook the Barrow. On those long summer evenings, you can digest your food watching the sunset behind Brandon Hill to the west of St Mullins while the swallows wheel overhead. A totally magical way to finish any day in this truly enchanting valley.
